Ashton

Neighbouring Southville Ashton in the nineteenth century was home to ironworks and collieries however in the present day it is home to Ashton Gate Stadium home to Bristol City FC. Benefiting from North Street, the Tabaco factory and all that Southville provides it is a perfect place to start a family or alternatively to live when studying at university with a number of popular universities only the other side of the river Avon.

However there are differences between Ashton and Southville most notably in the properties that you can find within the area most of the properties you will find in the Ashton area are Victorian and 1930’s properties. The average house price in the Ashton area would be between £205,500 and £350,000. With the city centre only a short walk or there are a number of buses that will take you via City centre and Southmead Hospital or you can travel by train from Bedminster station. There is convenient access to the motorway via the Portway (A4) or A369.
